About Site A1

Where Protocols
Are Born

Site A1 is the cornerstone of Synergy South — a purpose-built Bitcoin mining facility that doubles as our primary R&D laboratory. Every protocol we develop, every infrastructure design we refine, and every performance optimization we deploy has its origins here.

Operating at 10MW with an active expansion underway to 20MW, A1 runs a fleet of approximately 2,500 ASICs under our proprietary tuning and operational frameworks — designed to extract maximum compute profitability while maintaining hardware longevity.

The site serves as our primary self-mining operation and the live testing environment for infrastructure concepts we later offer to clients through our consulting and design services.

What Happens at A1

ASIC R&D

Live testing of server and ASIC models using proprietary techniques developed over a decade of hyperscale operations. We find performance that OEM specs don't advertise.

Infrastructure Iteration

A1 is a living test bed for electrical, cooling, and control systems. Designs proven here become the foundation for our client consulting and custom builds.

Proprietary Tuning

Our operational protocols — developed and refined at A1 — govern everything from firmware tuning to thermal management and power draw optimization across the fleet.
